During my second pregnancy I bought a wonderful little gadget: a home doppler.
I whipped it out of it's hiding place about a week and a half ago and have been trying in vain to find our little one's heart beat.
I knew it was really early when I started so I'd try for a few minutes and give up and was never even the slightest bit concerned.
Which I was proud of I might add.
But yesterday I found it!
The best sound in the world.
The beating of our baby's heart!!!
I admit, I got a little teary!
Brian recorded it and I've created a silly little slideshow with the heart beating in the background for your viewing (and listening) pleasure!

I can't figure out how to simply embed it in this post so you'll have to click on it! And of course, make sure your volume is on!

OMG Katherine, I totally want to buy one of those so that I can hear the heartbeat whenever I want. I think it would bring such peace of mind. What a beautiful sound...and LOVE the slideshow you put together!
ReplyDeleteOff to check out e-bay or Amazon!

Kara
Mine is a hi-bebe brand. I've also heard good things about Sonoline B. Just FYI :)
DeleteThat was so cool! I still choke up when I think back to when I first saw & heard Sully's heartbeat... it's the best sound in the world. :)

It really is! I've been listening to it alll day! Better than any music on the radio!
DeleteI had to go look on my phone because my work computer's nanny wouldn't let me listen. Boo!
